Chemical sponges lift soot particulate instead of smearing it into the surface.
We match the cleaning method to the material, not the other way around.
Soot turns corrosive on metal within about 48 hours — we move quickly.
Standard vacuums push soot particles back into your Stevenson, WA home's air — ours don't.
The primary tool for lifting soot from porous surfaces like drywall and painted trim without smearing.
This step happens before any wet cleaning, since vacuuming first prevents particulate from smearing when surfaces get wet.
Tile, glass, and metal get a different chemical treatment than porous drywall and wood.
We prioritize metal fixtures early in the job since the corrosion clock starts immediately.
Ceilings get cleaned before walls, since falling particulate would otherwise recontaminate freshly cleaned wall surfaces.
Soot pulled into return vents circulates through the whole Stevenson, WA property if left untreated.
